Rachel graduated from the Illinois Central College Dental Hygiene program in 2021 with an Associate degree in Applied Science. She is also certified by the Academy of Laser Dentistry in soft tissue laser. She has a passion for educating others on the importance of oral health. Rachel enjoys being outdoors and spending her free time with her family and two dogs, Aspen and Willow.
Amy was born and raised in the small town of Kewanee, IL. She graduated from ICC becoming a dental hygienist in 2003. Her work has taken her to both Iowa and Illinois with experience in pediatrics, geriatrics and every age in between. Amy has lived in Peoria since 2013. During her free time, she love to hang out with her best friend, her Mother. They enjoy going to concerts, shopping, good food and taking naps.
Abby attended Illinois Central College from 2022-2024 where she earned an Associate’s degree in Applied Science of Dental Hygiene. She also attended Augustana College from 2014-2018 where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. She has a passion for learning and helping others. Her favorite part about Dental Hygiene is educating patients and helping them understand more about their oral health. Abby loves spending her free time with her partner Carly crocheting, painting, kayaking, and curling up with a good fiction novel.
Miranda attended Illinois Central College from 2022-2024 where she earned an Associate’s degree in Applied Science of Dental Hygiene. She was the secretary of her dental hygiene class while in school. Miranda always wanted to be a dental hygienist since she was in 6th grade and she's happy to have achieved her goal and to be able to make people smile. In her free time, Miranda likes to go on walks with her husband and to sit outside to read a good thriller book. She loves spending time with family and friends. She is married to her best friend, Dakota and they have 3 fur dogs; Bella, Joanna and Dino. (She's always down to show you pictures of them)!
Kaylee is a Registered Dental Hygienist with an Associates degree in Applied Science from Illinois Central College. She enjoys taking time to educate her patients on oral health and creating a great dental experience for her patients. When Kaylee is not in the dental office she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband Cody and their son Rowan!
Linda was born in southern California and went to college at Northern Arizona University where she got a bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene in 1987. She began working in California and moved to Memphis for 4 years. She then returned to California for another 14 years. In 2006, Linda moved to Central Illinois where she has been working ever since. In addition to the dental field, in 2021 she started to work part-time as an adjunct dental hygiene instructor at ICC. She enjoys going camping and jeeping with friends and family. She is married and has 3 grown daughters and 1 grandson (so far)!
Kayleigh is a registered dental hygienist who graduated from Illinois Central College in 2017. There she received an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Dental Hygiene as well as an additional Associate degree in Science. She has worked with patients of all ages since graduating. However, her passion is working with children. Her favorite part of the day is seeing the children smile after a successful dental visit. In her free time, Kayleigh loves to go shopping to find hidden treasures. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and child, whether that is at home or taking an adventure while out traveling. She is dedicated in helping children of all ages enjoy coming to the dental office and leaving with a smile on their face! Kayleigh stated “I want every patient in my chair to be able to leave with a healthy happy smile!"
Alicia is a registered dental hygienist. She graduated from Illinois Central College in 2018 with an Associates Degree in Applied Sciences of Dental Hygiene. Alicia and her husband Jim have 3 daughters and a house full of pets. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family. She loves to read, and is always looking for the next book to add to her library. After being a stay at home mom, Alicia decided to go back to college for her degree once her children were all in school. She loves being a hygienist.
Amber attended Illinois Central College and earned an Associate in Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene. She strives to help patients overcome dental fear/anxiety and build confidence in their smile. Amber grew up around horses and enjoys going to local rodeos and country concerts. She also enjoys hiking, kayaking, or relaxing poolside in her free time!
Born and raised in the Chicago suburbs, Meghan made the move to central Illinois to attend the dental hygiene program at Illinois Central College in 2011. She has been a registered dental hygienist since 2013, and her experience in the dental field includes working with patients in both the public health setting and in private practice. Meghan lives with her husband, Tim, who also goes by "Pork Chop", and their two dogs, Nala and Nova. In her free time, she enjoys playing games and spending time with family and friends.
Molly attended Carl Sandburg College where she received her dental hygiene degree. She has been practicing comprehensive dental hygiene with her gentle and thorough manner for over five years. Molly prides herself in employing the latest techniques and technologies in oral hygiene care for the benefit of her patients and enjoys creating lasting patient relationships, helping every patient to maximize their oral health. Molly enjoys spending her free time with her husband, Hayden, and dog, Louie, on their farm raising cows, riding horses, gardening, kayaking and spending as much time outdoors as possible.
Rachael’s warm, bubbly personality and gregarious nature are favorites of patients and staff, alike. Rachael strives to give our patients an experience that is gentle, comfortable, educational and health-enhancing, working together with patients to find realistic, sustainable home care practices to improve their oral health. Rachael had five years of dental assisting experience before earning her dental hygiene degree. When not treating patients, Rachael enjoys spending time with her son, Easton, and their two cats, Nacho and Sushi. An avid reader, Rachael reads 4-5 books each month!
Patients appreciate the knowledgeable, exceptional skill that Taylor brings to their care, as well as her gentle touch in dental hygiene. Taylor regularly updates her expertise with continuing education courses and enjoys educating patients regarding innovations in dental hygiene. She is focused on developing long lasting relationships with patients, a goal shared by our entire team.
Taylor and her husband are the proud parents of two young boys who keep Taylor very active, along with her regular workouts. Their young family enjoys making family memories boating, cheering on the Chicago Cubs, and playing with their two German Shepard dogs.
Shay attended Illinois Central College from 2014-2019 where she earned an Associate's degree in Applied Science of Dental Hygiene as well as an Associate's degree in Science for Secondary Education. She has specialized training in laser bacterial reduction, local anesthetic, and in-house whitening. Her favorite part about her job is making patients smile! In her free time, Shay enjoys cooking, baking, and spending time with family and friends. She is currently engaged to her fiancé Chris. Together they share a daughter Maisie, two cats, and a dog. They are also expecting twins this coming October!
Ashley attended Illinois Central College where she received her Associate Degree in Applied Science – Dental Hygiene. She then continued her education by receiving special training in anesthetic treatment, soft tissue lasers, Zoom! whitening and nitrous oxide. She has been working in the dental field for 14 years and loves getting to know her patients on a personal level. She is also passionate about teaching patients about their oral health and how to maintain a beautiful smile. Ashley is married to her husband Tim, and they have 2 children, Reed and Reese. In her free time, Ashley enjoys baking, crafting, going to her children’s sporting events, canoeing, and spending time outdoors with family and friends.
Janelle is a graduate from Illinois Central College with an Associates Degree in Applied Science-dental hygiene. She has been working as a hygienist for 13 years. She has a passion for making each dental visit comfortable and educational for her patients. She finds her job rewarding when patients walk away from an appointment, confident with their smiles, and properly educated on how to maintain healthy oral hygiene. When away from the office she enjoys life, in rural Tremont, with her husband Brent and four children, Londyn, Tyra, Cason, and Clay. Some of her favorite family memories are centered around the outdoors, whether that be camping, boating, being at the beach, or hiking in the mountains.

Lexie is a nurse living in Bloomington and newly married. Her younger 2 kids still live at home, Ellie is a full-time college student and Tate goes to Morton High School. Jacki is a registered dental hygienist with a Bachelor of Science-Dental Hygiene degree from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. Her extended trainings include nitrous oxide sedation and administering local anesthesia. She has two sons that keep her busy with several sports and activities. Ashlee graduated from Illinois Central College in 2008 with a Degree in Applied Science-Dental Hygiene. She loves getting to know her dental patients on a personal level and strives to put them at ease. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and their three active boys. Kinsey graduated from Illinois Central College receiving an Associate in Science Degree in 2015. In addition, she received an Associate in Applied Science Degree for Dental Hygiene in 2017. Her passion is to work with children, and she has worked solely in Pediatrics since graduating. In her free time, Kinsey enjoys coaching a swim team in Dunlap, spending time with friends and family and her two cats, Smokey and Ollie. She is focused on working with children to help them overcome their dental fears and wishes to instill good oral hygiene habits at a young age.
Keri is a Registered Dental Hygienist with an associates degree in applied science from Illinois Central College. She is passionate about her job and her patients. Her favorite part is helping her patients through any dental anxiety they may have and seeing how their fears of dental offices change. When Keri isn't working, she enjoys baking, binging true crime podcasts and keeping her three crazy cats out of trouble. She says her biggest accomplishment is being the proud momma bear to a wise 17-year-old son, and a strong 19 year old daughter in the U.S. Army. “I love what I do, and I do what I love.”
Donna has been a dental hygienist for 25 years. She earned her Associates in Applied Science degree at ICC. She has a son that keeps her busy going to football and basketball games, which she loves. She also loves reading, travel, fitness, sporting events, fantasy football, Sunday Fundays and hanging out with friends. She is passionate about St. Jude and has committed to another year of running in the Mackinaw to Peoria run. “I love my position as a dental hygienist because of the amazing people that I have come to know on a personal and professional level. The special friendships that I have made in the past 25 years have been a joy in my life. I am passionate about the patients and the care that I give them, and I’m dedicated to making their dental experience a great one!”
Joanna is a registered dental hygienist. She graduated from Illinois Central College in 2018 with an Associates Degree in the Applied Sciences of Dental Hygiene. She grew up with two brothers and a sister. She has a love for animals, and currently has a pet cat named Flynn and a new kitten Pepper. In her free time, she loves to run, bake desserts, and spend time with her family. She has been a dental professional for a little over a year and is enjoying it so far. “I like working in the dental field, because I enjoy educating our community on how to achieve great oral hygiene. Jessica received her Dental Assistant Certificate in 2017. Immediately following, she received her certification of completion in Coronal Polishing and Sealant placement. Prior to being at Smalltown, Jessica worked at a TMJ/Sleep specialty office. Invisalign was offered here and Jessica was head of the program by using the digital scanner and placing attachments. The reason she chose dentistry was to fully understand everything in order to help patients feel comfortable and calm. Jessica's passion and goal with every patient she encounters is to treat them like family. In free time her husband Devin and their three children love watching movies, playing games and being with family!
Lindsey grew up near Bartonville Illinois and was homeschooled. She loves spending her free time and weekends with her family. She goes to Eastview Christian church and enjoys photography. Lindsey has worked 10+ years in various childcare positions and is very excited to pave her path into pediatric dentistry!
Brooke graduated from Midwest Technical Institute as a Dental Assistant and is DANB certified. Prior to working for Smalltown Dental, she was a CNA. Brooke enjoys helping others and making them feel better about themselves. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her son, fiancé, and family. She loves going fishing, baking, and spending time at dirt tracks.
Kelsey completed her Dental Assistant Certification at Midwest Technical Institute in 2023. Kelsey is certified in Infection Control, Radiology, HIPPA, and CPR. Before falling in love with dentistry, Kelsey had a passion of babysitting and serving her community near and far. What she loves most as a Dental Assistant is enjoying seeing patients’ smiles improve and helping them feel more confident. Lilly is a dynamic, bilingual dental professional with over 16 years of experience. She is fluent in both English and Spanish. She holds a CPR certification and is dedicated to promoting oral health education. Lilly has a passion for teaching children about proper brushing and flossing techniques, and educating parents. She prides herself on her ability to earn patients’ trust and confidence. In her free time, Lilly loves taking nature walks with her family and visiting amusement parks to create memorable experiences.
Lynn has worked in the dental field for over 20 years. She has had the opportunity to work with some great people and has met some amazing patients over this period of time! Lynn enjoys helping others and being part of a team. She says she likes to think that she can make a difference in someone's life every day. Lynn is married with three children and three grandchildren who she enjoys spending time with outside of work. When she isn't working or with family, Lynn enjoys walking outside, working out, and going on fishing trips to Lake Taneycomo in Branson, MO.
Darnea has been a dental assistant since 2020. She fell in love with the dental field as a child and hopes to further her career in the near future. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her son, Drew, hanging out with family and friends, reading, and building lego sets!
Kayla has been assisting since 2018. She has obtained training in periodontal treatment as well as general dentistry. After a short time working a corporate job, she realized how much she missed the dental field and decided to come back and start fresh with Smalltown Dental! Kayla’s favorite thing about being a dental assistant is the relationship between Doctors, assistants, and patients, and the teamwork it takes to create a beautiful smile.
In her free time, Kayla spends time outdoors with fiancé Brett and son Jack riding jeeps and four-wheelers around their property. She also enjoys live music any chance she gets!
Katelynn graduated from Midwest Technical Institue for dental assisting and worked two and a half years with Peoria county health department as a dental assistant before joining Smalltown. Her favorite part of coming to work is helping kids restore their teeth. Katelynn enjoys Fishing, Camping, and spending quality time with her family.
Ali has always had a passion for dentistry since she was little. She has had hands-on training and loves her job at Smalltown Dental! Ali lives in Peoria with her significant other and two kitties (aka her children). She enjoys spending her free time with family and friends. In her free time, her favorite hobby is volleyball.
Whitney is a dental assistant who graduated from Midwest Technical Institute in 2015 and is currently working on a bachelors degree in Computer Science. She enjoys helping others and caring for her patients. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, crafting, watching movies and listening to music.
Mica has been a certified dental assistant for 10+ years. She graduated from Midwest Technical Institute, and is certified in OSHA, nitrous oxide sedation, and CPR. Mica is dedicated to creating comfortable experiences for patients, bringing joy to their dental journeys. When not not working, her family loves spending time outdoors hiking, fishing, or just exploring nature's wonders. Sports also play a significant role in her life. She actively engages in her children’s school sports including volleyball, football, track, and soccer.
Cathy graduated from Illinois Central College in 1993 with a Certificate in Dental Assisting and has an Associate degree in Arts and Science. She has had continuing education in coronal polishing, sealant placement, and digital scanning and is CPR certified. Cathy enjoys getting to know her patients and helping them have great smiles. She enjoys traveling with her daughter Abby, doing CrossFit, and spending time with friends and family.
Julia graduated from MTI and has her certification in HIPPA , CPR , Infection control , Radiation Health and Safety control . She can’t wait to give patients fun and comforting dental care! Julia lives in the country with her 2 dogs, Luna a Belgian Malinois, and Bruno, Pit-bull / Belgian Malinois. She enjoys spending her time outside with them or by the pool in the summer.
Rene is an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant and former Dental Hygienist. She attended Southern Illinois University and received an Associate degree in Dental Hygiene. Post graduation, she lived and worked in Colorado and New York City. While in New York, Rene worked on a number of celebrity smiles and enjoyed the big city life. She has extended training in cosmetics, nitrous oxide, and expanded functions dentistry. Rene loves dentistry and loves creating trust with her patients and great dental experiences. In her spare time she loves to travel, listen to music, dance, go to the theater and spend time with family.
Josie graduated MTI in 2021 as a dental assistant who is certified in Radiology and Infection Control. She is also an ADAA member and is certified in CPR. Josie is driven to make sure her patients feel comfortable and safe inside the dental world. Outside of work, Josie enjoys hanging out with family and her cat, Pat!
Hannah completed her dental assistant certification at MTI in the fall of 2022. She is CPR certified. Before falling in love with dentistry, Hannah worked at her hometown’s daycare for over 3 years. She couldn’t be happier with the work she is doing now and it brings her daily joy knowing she is helping patients by bringing a smile back to their face. Outside of work, Hannah enjoys going on walks outdoors, Cardinal games and time with friends and family.
Caitlin completed her Dental Assistant Certification at Midwest Technical Institute in 2020 and is CPR certified. What she loves most as a Dental Assistant is working alongside the doctors, as well as meeting and providing for the patients. In Caitlin’s spare time, she enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and her two goldendoodles: Cash and June. At the office, Caitlin enjoys connecting with the patients every day and making sure each one of them leaves with a smile on their face!
Ashley (AJ) has been a dental assistant at Morton Dental Center since the summer of 2018. She is thankful to be able to work at an office that’s patient-centered and has a friendly team. Ashley is married to her husband Brett, and they have two daughters, Jovie and Jayda. She enjoys the outdoors and spending time with family.
Melissa has returned to the dental field after a 20 year break. She has enjoyed the transition to being a chair side assistant and loves learning new things. Her favorite part of her job is getting to know the patients and share stories with them. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Josh, they have 3 wonderful kids and 2 amazing grandchildren with a third on the way. In her free time she loves spending time with her family, cooking, entertaining, and anything Pioneer Woman. She also helps her husband on their farm where there is never a dull moment! Amber has been a certified dental assistant for the past 10 years. She graduated from MTI and spent most of her years assisting in oral surgery. She has many certifications including: DANB Radiation Health and Safety, DANB Infection Control, CPR, First Aid, ADAA member, Anesthesia Sedation and Monitoring, Nitrous Oxide Analgesia: Administering and Monitoring. In her free time, Amber enjoys spending time with her two daughters and two fur babies! During all seasons, she keeps busy with her oldest daughter playing travel soccer. In the summer, you can most definitely find her poolside with her kiddos!
Madeline has been a dental assistant since 2015 when she graduated from Midwest Technical Institute in East Peoria, IL. Madeline’s expanded functions include CPR certification, coronal polishing certification, sealant certification, and PRP certification. Journie grew up in rural Manito, IL and graduated from the Medical Assisting Program at MTI in 2020. She briefly worked as a Medical Assistant, and then took a hiatus from the medical field. She missed working with patients, so she decided that Smalltown Dental would be a great opportunity to dive back into the healthcare field! During her off time, Journie enjoys being in the sun, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her corgi, Kai.
Amy has worked in patient care for 20 years! She enjoys meeting new faces every day. She is a self proclaimed, "Lake loving, fun having bumpkin from East Peoria!" Amy is a proud mom of two kids and three fur babies. While not at work, you will find her rinkside, watching her son play Hockey. Her daughter makes her proud daily! Amy is a fast learner and loves to have fun.
Krystin graduated from Illinois State University in 2006 and has put her business skills to good use working on the Business Team at Morton Dental for 10 years and then moving to Alabama and working in the Real Estate world! She is now back in Central IL and working with her favorite team at Smalltown Dental on Fourth. Krystin and her husband Casey have three kids, Ramsey, Knox and Hutch. She loves spending her free time going to their various sports and activities and they keep her very busy! She also enjoys reading, cooking and traveling with her family.
Theresa, who is known by her workmates and friends as "T," has many decades of experience helping patients with their dental needs. She uses her own experiences to ease patients with dental treatments such as root canals, crowns, or night guards to aid with grinding. She enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 rescue dogs whom she refers to as "The Boyz."
Marissa graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in government and psychology. She worked in radiology for 13 years before joining the Smalltown Dental team. Marissa loves working in the medical field and focuses on providing great customer service! When she has downtime, Marissa enjoys spending time with pets, reading, and listening to podcasts.
Keri attended Truman State University where she studied Speech Pathology. After graduating, she taught First Grade and Pre-K for 11 years. During this time, she completed her Masters in The Arts of Teaching. She always had a fascination with the dental industry, so in 2012 she made a career change to Orthodontics where she has served as a Treatment Coordinator, Administrative Manager, and Office Manager. Born and raised in the Peoria area, Keri has recently moved back to Central Illinois and is excited to be part of the Smalltown Dental Team! In her free time, you can find her spending time with family, her 2 children, and supporting her favorite college team, University of Tennessee!
Alexis graduated with her Associate Degree and Dental Assisting Certificate from Heartland Community College. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s in Business Administration. In her free time, she likes to be around friends and family. Alexis also enjoys spending time outdoors, painting, and playing with her dog Bubbles.
Tina has been providing superior patient care for over 25 years, as both a Registered Dental Hygienist, and after furthering her education by graduating Magna Cum Laude from Lincoln College with a Bachelor Degree in Health Service Administration, as our Patient Coordinator.
Tina has served as an Ambassador for Lincoln College and is the recipient of the YWCA Wings Award in recognition of her pursuit of continuing education and community service. Her volunteerism includes the Community Health Care Clinic, and the Illinois Dental Society Mission of Mercy, helping the underserved residents of McLean County with access to dental care.
The proud mother of two adult children, Tina’s daughter, Christen, lives in Houston, TX, and her son Jesse, a graduate of ISU, having completed active military duty, resides in Normal. Tina’s bonus daughter, Annika, attends Normal West High School. In her spare time, Tina enjoys golfing with her husband, Greg, cheering on the Cubs, Blackhawks and Bears as well as playing with her rescue dog, Lola.
Bringing over a decade of dental administrative and customer service skills to our patients, Doreen enjoys helping patients to receive the care that they need and want. Doreen works with our patients to conveniently schedule dental procedures, maximize patient’s dental insurance benefits and navigate the complex web of the dental insurance industry. Doreen loves working with our experienced group of professionals and relishes seeing patients enjoy dental visits on a daily basis. Outside of the office, her two great stepchildren, husband Mark, and two grandchildren fill Doreen’s time. She also enjoys free time reading, hiking, traveling, and creating delicious creations in the kitchen.
Becky graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Dakota and has been in the dental field for over 20 years. She is proud to work at Smalltown Dental! It’s rewarding to contribute to the positive culture, environment & energy that defines our teams and doctors to provide the highest quality of care to our patients. Becky is passionate about reading, gardening, dancing, traveling, and values time with family & friends.
Susan earned her bachelor's degree from Bradley University in Peoria, IL, and puts her business skills to good use as Treatment Plan and Appointment Coordinator. She brings years of medical office experience to her position. Susan enjoys the people she works with at Morton Dental Center, as well as our patients. Her friendly and helpful demeanor is evident in her communication with patients, in the office or on the phone. Susan and her husband have three daughters: Delanie, Natalie, and Gabby. She enjoys reading, shopping, and spending time with her family.
Stephanie graduated from Illinois Central College with a certificate in Dental Assisting. She has been a part of the dental field for over 30 years. She has several years of experience as a Dental Assistant but loves her role on the Business Team. Stephanie and her husband Chad, have three kids: Mason, Alec, and Lydia. Stephanie’s time away from the office is spent with her family. Stephanie loves helping the wonderful patients at Morton Dental Center and looks forward to working with her great co-workers.
Erin is the Practice Manager at our Smalltown Dental Hopedale location. She is new to the dental field, but she was previously the office manager at an Orthodontic practice in the area. Erin is a central Illinois native and resides with her husband, Nate and cat, Winston, in Morton. She loves spending time with friends and family, visiting new restaurants, serving on her church’s worship team, and working out. Erin is grateful to be joining the Smalltown team and hopes to create a positive and enjoyable experiences for all our patients!
Lynn has spent her life in customer service and enjoys working with new people. She has spent the past several years in the dental world and is excited about her career with Smalltown Dental Kids! In her spare time you can find Lynn at some sort of sporting event or hanging out with her kids. She enjoys gardening and DIY projects around her home.
Elizabeth has been in the health care field for over a year now. She enjoys meeting the patients and help the Smalltown Dental team succeed. In her free time, she enjoys photography, traveling, and being outside.
Prior to joining the Smalltown Dental Team, Brandi worked in recruiting for manufacturing, clerical, and professional positions for 5+ years and truly has a passion for matching candidates with their dream jobs. She enjoys being the first face new employees see when they start their journey with Smalltown and watching each individual grow within their role. In her free time, Brandi likes to go hiking and kayaking with her husband, Derek, cuddling with her black lab, Hudson, and spending time with family.
Troy absolutely loves his job! He claims he has the best job at Smalltown Dental, because when he shows up he's there to fix things, and when he leaves everyone is happy! He is full of energy and always positive. Troy has one daughter and two amazing grandchildren that he can't get enough of. When he's not maintaining our offices, he loves to weightlift, golf and go to church.
Tera is a huge fan of hiking and spending time outdoors, always searching for her next adventure. She enjoys spending time with her family. Working in the dental field for almost 15 years, Tera enjoys building relationships with the parents and kids. Earning their trust and making them excited to return to our office.
Jenna has a degree in education from Eastern Illinois University. Seven years ago she found a passion in the dental field. She started building her dental career while working with patients and insurance companies as a billing specialist in an oral surgeons office. She joined Smalltown Dental in 2022 to further her career as the Insurance and Audit Manager. Jenna is married to her husband, Ryan, and is a stepmom to his three boys. In her spare time she enjoys being with her family and friends, doing home projects, spending time outdoors and binge watching her favorite shows.
Kristen received her undergraduate degree from Bradley University. Prior to working for Smalltown Dental, she was a Graphic Designer for 10 years. Outside of work, she spends her free time with her husband and son. Kristen enjoys baking, anything involving coffee, and spending any extra time outdoors.
Born in India where she received her Bachelor of Engineering in Biotechnology, Raji has been working in the dental field for over three years. Her background and education have provided a unique set of skills beneficial to the dental field. When not at the office, she spends her time dancing and working out, but primarily enjoys entertaining and cooking large meals for all her family and friends.
Prior to joining the Smalltown Dental Business Team in November 2021 Tami was an orthodontic assistant for 2 years and an orthodontic manager for 1 year. She is CPR certified, DANB Certified in Radiology and Infection Control. Her dental assisting certification came from Midwest Technical Institute, she as well has a bachelors degree from Eastern Illinois University. Tami looks forward to continuing her education in her dental career while being a support system to her Smalltown Team Members. When not working with Smalltown Dental she enjoys spending time with family and friends. She is a people person at heart and truly enjoys bringing joy to people helping making their smiles beautiful.
Tori has been assisting for 4 1/2 years. She is CPR Certified and completed her Dental Assistant Certification at Midwest Technical Institute. She really enjoys building relationships and getting to know each patient on a professional and personal level. Tori’s expanded functions include: -Nitrous Oxide Sedation-E4D Technologies-ZOOM!TM WhiteningShe is married to her high school sweetheart Seth, and together they have a daughter, Skylar. Tori loves spending her free time with family, friends, being outside, and shopping.
Angie was a 20-year business owner in the service industry where customer satisfaction was her top priority. She is dedicated to making our young patients have the best experience coming to the dentist and wanting to come back! Angie began her career with Smalltown Dental at Morton Dental Center business team and is so excited to now be leading the Kids team as practice manager. She is always eager to learn new things, and loves taking on new challenges in the dental world. In her free time, Angie loves traveling to new places. A few of her favorite attractions are: Mexico, Jamaica, Niagara Falls, and Lake Tahoe. Her daughters are her greatest joy and she spends most of her free time at their sporting events or with friends.

Alysa graduated from Midwest Technical Institute as a Dental Assistant. She then worked as a dental assistant and a receptionist for 5 years before starting with Smalltown Dental. Driven by her dental experiences, Alysa strives to make patients feel more comfortable and at ease in the dental office. Alysa loves hunting, fishing, and spending time with her husband, 2 wonderful kids, and 3 dogs.
Jessica is a graduate of Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene Education and management. She worked as a clinical hygienist for 9 years before transitioning into her current role as the Regional Manager of Hygiene and teaching dental hygiene at Illinois Central College. Jessica is married and has a daughter. She loves spending time with her family, camping, her daughter’s sporting events, and being outdoors.
Tess graduated as a Global Scholar from Bradley University with a degree in Advertising and Marketing. She enjoyed playing soccer at Bradley and studying abroad in England and Italy. Smalltown Dental - Her experience lies in branding, content creation and graphic design. Her professional life has taken her all over the country from working in CGI Illustration for Caterpillar in Peoria to on-mountain marketing for Vail Resorts in Colorado. She also remote-built a design campaign for a series of restaurants in Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii. In her free time, she loves coffee tasting and traveling with her husband, Stephen and son, Cash.
Luke graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Bradley University and has been in the medical field serving as a manager for 13 years. He is also the president of the 7309 Knoxville Condo Association. In his free time, Luke is the Morton Potters Boys Varsity Assistant Basketball Coach and has been in that role since 2006. Luke is a member of Morton Rotary and a chairman on the Gameball Run committee. Luke is married to his wife Erin and they have 2 children, Briggs and Kenzie. He enjoys hunting and the St. Louis Cardinals.
Vanessa started with Smalltown Dental as Business Team in Tremont, IL then transitioned to practice manager at Smalltown Morton. She then grew to be the practice manager at Smalltown Kids as well and is now the Regional Manager. Vanessa has enjoyed the opportunity to meet all the teams, build relationships with so many team members and grow within the company. Prior to that she has experience as an office manager in a chiropractic office and an orthodontic office. She was also the co-founder and CFO at Aerial Athletics for 6 years. Vanessa is married to her husband Mark and his 2 kids keep them busy with basketball, baseball, and softball. Vanessa and Mark volunteer frequently with community events and St. Jude. In her small amount of free time Vanessa also loves to travel and spend time with family & friends.
Drew was born and raised in central Illinois. He has been in the dental field for over 12 years. Drew is certified in Oral Conscious Sedation. When he is not in the dental office, Drew enjoys spending time with his daughter camping, fishing and canoeing. He loves music and enjoys collecting vinyl records, cooking, and playing the harmonica in his spare time. Drew looks forward to coming into work at Smalltown Dental every day. He says he has been lucky enough to make lifelong friends with his coworkers!
Dr. Peter Smidt graduated from Olivet Nazarene University with a degree in biology and chemistry before earning his doctorate of dental surgery from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry. He completed rotations at the Peoria County Health Department, the Lawndale Christian Center in Chicago, as well as a dental mission trip to Jamaica.
